Mitcham Cycle Centre was established in the early 1990's as a small shop in the basement of the Mitcham Shopping Centre where the main focus was to supply the community with family and recreation bikes .

Early 2001 saw the change of ownership to Nathan and Garry (Aldgate Bike Shop), with a bigger focus on the MTB scene. In 2004, Mitcham Cycles were forced to vacate from the shopping centre which was devestated by fires and we moved to our current location in October. It is a much larger, more user friendly location. We are very happy with where we are headed, are goal focused for the future and would love to help you ‘ride a better bike’ in the very near future. In May 2014 we joined the Bicycle Centre network. Australia's fastest group Bicycle Network. We look forward to seeing you in store soon.

The team at Mitcham Cycles have won the local business awards for 2007, 2008, and were a finalist in 2009.

I love getting on the bike to get away from it all, a few hours every couple of days to release some frustrations on the trails. I love the feeling of building fitness and like the social aspect too. Some good male bonding times with my mates!!

Worst thing about riding
Getting out in the cold and trying to get motivated in winter when its wet.

Best place to ride
Mt Beauty, French Alpes

Words of wisdom
Be self sufficient, dont rely on others to have spares for you.

Thanks to Mum, family, and Aisie for allowing me to ride whenever I can.
