Lightweight Aluminium Frame
Our MATTS is one of the longest running models in the MERIDA range and comes equipped with a lightweight 6061 double butted aluminium frame which, despite its low weight, is extremely durable and doesn't rust. The frame is 26" wheel specific and comes equipped with either disc or V-brakes.
26" Wheel Specific
26" wheels are easy to accelerate, super durable and a long standing favourite of the mountain bike world. They're also slightly lighter in comparison to their bigger brothers and easy to manoeuver around tight corners and bends. To top it all, they conveniently fit into a car boot.
Our MATTS range offers a more upright and relaxed geometry. Perfect for less aggressive rides on trails and ideal in traffic where you want to see what's ahead as well as being visible to other road users.
Disc or V-brake
Acceleration is hugely important, as is keeping your bike under control when you need to slow down. Disc brakes are powerful and reliable as the braking surface is in the centre of the wheel, away from the mud. V-brakes are light, durable and easy to maintain.
100 mm Front Suspension
Our MATTS range features 100 mm travel suspension forks throughout, providing the ideal travel for either tough trails or the road. Some come with a lockout function, making climbing out of the saddle that little bit easier.
Lifetime Frame Warranty
All our frames are covered by a lifetime warranty for the entire ownership of the original purchaser. This applies to manufacturing and material defects and includes bikes used for racing (frames from model year 2015 onwards). Conditions apply.
